A cocktail-style reception, also called a "reception with food stations" is a gathering of your guests without providing a sit-down dinner. Guests mingle for a while, enjoying a beverage from the bar while servers slink through the crowd offering hors d'oeuvres. Later, more substantial dinner food comes out to food stations strategically placed throughout the lodge. There is more of a 'gathering and mixing' rather than a structured wedding reception meal.
